Implementation example – Úvaly u Prahy, 4.12.2023
Despite the poor weather on the coldest day of the year, we accepted the challenge to organise the grand opening of the Retail Park at a car park covered in snow. While preparations began 10 days in advance, the actual implementation and construction began the day before the event.
We chose a spacious 10x35m marquee with transparent sides to mount a 300l tank filled with water from an initially frozen hydrant. Heating was secured by two diesel heating units with a total output of 260 kW. The space was divided up into a grant entrance with carpet, dressing room and welcome drink area, while the dominant section was given over to round tables, comfortable wooden chairs with cushions and bistro tables near the catering section. At the centre of the front of the marquee was a 6x5m stage with plenty of space for the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Ensuring a pleasant atmosphere meant the creative use of decorations and lights, such as the balloon white clouds lit up in the client’s colours, table decorations reminiscent of upcoming holidays and illuminated inflatable decorations.
An innovative and dynamic big band full of rhythm playing swing from the 1920s and 30s. The band also delivered original and lively arrangements of famous modern songs in period style. These included swing versions of famous hits from Michael Jackson, Tři sestry and Daft Punk.
Catering that is varied, full of diverse flavours. Catering that imparts unexpected combinations which blend beautifully and delight guests. We showcased a fine-tuned menu ensuring each guest knew they were appreciated.
A professional photographer was hired to preserve memories and document the grand opening, including the entire location where it took place. From both the ground and the air. Drone photography gives us the opportunity to view the event from a new perspective and with greater clarity.
The Retail Park grand opening was evaluated very positively by both guests and in particular the client, whose helpful approach, co-operation and support in the preparation of the whole company event was appreciated. It was our honour to work for them, and we will be glad for any potential future co-operation.
