Organizing 4 Conferences

A difficult task is always a welcome challenge, especially for a team with a desire to create and solve more complex jobs.

Our team accepted the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs’ challenge and came up with a solution for holding 4 closing conferences as part of a European Union, European Social Fund, Operational Programme Employment project. Each conference was for 200 participants in a different city in the Czech Republic (Ústí nad Labem, Brno, Olomouc and Pardubice), just a few days apart from each other. Naturally, a number of companies submitted their bids for this tender. Our concept proved popular and won.

At that moment, our struggle against time began. Printers, dies, proofreading, promotional materials, technical provisions in line with the precise requirements, audio recordings, logistics and last but not least refreshments taking account of participants’ diets and incorporating Fair Trade products. We had little time, and that time passed quickly. But thanks to our team’s energy and enthusiasm, everything was ready in time.

Furthermore, when such 4 conferences are about something meaningful, such as training people who help to integrate children into foster families, who help children subjected to abuse, etc., it is also somewhat a matter of the heart and not just business. We are very pleased to have had the opportunity to organise these conferences, helping in our own small way.
